Administrative divisions of Kirovohrad Oblast

Kirovohrad Oblast is subdivided into districts (raions) which are subdivided into territorial communities (hromadas).

On 18 July 2020, the number of districts was reduced to four.

[1][2] These are: Before July 2020, Kirovohrad Oblast was subdivided into 25 regions: 21 districts (raions) and 4 city municipalities (mis'krada or misto), officially known as territories governed by city councils.

[3] Note: Asterisks (*) Though the administrative center of the rayon was housed in the city/town that it was named after, cities do not answer to the rayon authorities only towns do; instead they were directly subordinated to the oblast government and therefore were not counted as part of rayon statistics.
