Adolf Ciborowski

Adolf Ciborowski (25 May 1919 – 26 January 1987) was a Polish architect, urban planner and politician.

In the years 1947–1948 he worked as director of the City Planning Bureau in Szczecin.

[1] He contributed to the rebuilding of Warsaw after the Second World War.

He also worked as consultant on the master plan for Baghdad and supervised the reconstruction and urban plan of Skopje alongside Stanisław Janowski after its destruction by an earthquake in 1963.

He also worked as a UNESCO and UNCHS advisor on the reconstruction of cities damaged by earthquakes.
