Aghili-ye Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان عقيلي شمالي)[a] is in Aghili District of Gotvand County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

[4] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 10,415 in 2,049 households.

[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 3,708 in 953 households.

The most populous of its nine villages was Badil, with 965 people.
