Agios Andreas, Patras

Agios Andreas (Greek: Άγιος Ανδρέας, meaning "Saint Andrew") is a neighbourhood in the south-central part of the city of Patras, 2 km from the downtown core.

Agios Andreas is linked with the Akti Dymaion and the GR-9/E55 (Patras - Pyrgos - Kyparissia) and Korinthou Street.

Westward is the proposed cargo section of the Port of Patras and several playgrounds.

After World War II and the Greek Civil War, the area saw taller buildings as high as eight stories tall and neoclassical buildings are more rarely seen.

More land was added to the west and in the early-2000s the Port of Patras expanded southward.
