On 5 September 2013, he signed a one-year contract with 2012–13 Oman Elite League runners-up Fanja SC.
He was selected for the national team for the first time in 2003, along with Ahmed Hadid, Badar Al-Maimani and Ali Al-Habsi.
And in the 2017 edition, he managed to score a critical penalty kick in a difficult 1−0 win against the hosts Kuwait.
