Akhtubinsky District

Akhtubinsky District (Russian: Ахту́бинский райо́н; Kazakh: Ақтөбе ауданы, Aqtóbe aýdany) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the eleven in Astrakhan Oblast, Russia.

It is located in the north of the oblast.

The area of the district is 7,810 square kilometers (3,020 sq mi).
