Akhvakhsky District (Russian: Ахвахский райо́н; Avar: Гӏахьвахъ мухъ) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the forty-one in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia.

The area of the district is 291.1 square kilometers (112.4 sq mi).
