Alfred Grady Rose (January 26, 1905 – October 1985) was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL) who played for the Providence Steam Roller and the Green Bay Packers, and for 1 season with the New York Yankees of the 2nd AFL.
In 1931 he was named 3rd Team All Pro by the Green Bay Press-Gazette and in 1932 he led the league in non-offensive TDs with 2.
[6] He stayed in Green Bay after his playing days were over and became a branch manager of CIT Financial Corporation until his retirement of 1936.
He was a charter member of the NFL Alumni Association and was inducted into the Texas Longhorns Hall of Honor in 1985.
