Albert Jan Maat (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɑlbər tɕɑ ˈmaːt]; born 8 February 1953 in Heino, Overijssel) is a Dutch politician and Member of the European Parliament.
He is a member of the Christian Democratic Appeal, which is part of the European People's Party, and sits on the European Parliament's Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development and its Committee on Fisheries.
He is vice-chair of the delegation to the EU–Kazakhstan, EU–Kyrgyzstan and EU–Uzbekistan Parliamentary Cooperation Committees, and for relations with Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Mongolia.
