Alexander Carr

Alexander Carr (1878–1946)[1] was a Russian born stage and screen actor, writer, vaudevillian, burlesque and circus performer.

His first New York appearance was in 1904 at the Circle Theatre in "Wine, Women and Song" imitating David Warfield.

[2] In 1907 he costarred with Jefferson De Angelis and Blanche Ring in the musical The Gay White Way on Broadway.

The play was adapted to a silent film in 1923 and a sequel a year later after Bernard died.

In addition to the Potash' movies, Carr appeared in silent film sporadically.
