Alexis James Oliver FitzGerald (4 September 1916 – 16 June 1985) was a Fine Gael politician, economist and solicitor.
He was one of the founding partners of the Irish law firm McCann FitzGerald.
[1] He born on 4 September 1916 in Waterford, the fourth child of Alexis FitzGerald and his wife, Elizabeth O'Halloran.
He lectured in economics at University College Dublin, and from 1981 to 1982, he was a special adviser to Taoiseach Garret FitzGerald (no relation).
[1] Alexis FitzGerald died on 16 June 1985 and is buried in Glasnevin Cemetery.
