Alex Mendez (born September 6, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Liga MX club Juárez.

Mendez made his professional debut for USL Championship club LA Galaxy II in a 1–0 win against Orange County SC on August 3, 2017, coming on as a 34th-minute substitute for Andre Ulrich Zanga.

[2] On October 23, 2018, Mendez announced that he had signed a professional contract for the Bundesliga club SC Freiburg in Germany.

[5] He made his official debut playing for the reserves team Jong Ajax in the Dutch Eerste Divisie, the 2nd-tier of professional football in the Netherlands, in a match against N.E.C.

[7] On August 6, 2021, Mendez made his debut as a starter in the Primeira Liga season opener in a 3–0 loss at home against Sporting CP.
