Alfred Pfaff (16 July 1926 – 27 December 2008) was a German football player[1] and World Cup winner with West Germany in 1954.
Pfaff was capped seven times between 1953 and 1956 for the West Germany national team, scoring two goals as an inside forward.
Pfaff had an appearance in the preliminary round against Hungary (3–8) and scored a goal in the 26th minute.
His club was Eintracht Frankfurt with whom he won the 1959 German Championship, and in 1960 reached the final of the Champions' Cup against Real Madrid.
Pfaff was a true playmaker with exceptionally good ball control and great skills at free kicks.
