Aline (footballer, born 1982)

She was a member of the Brazil national team that won the silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics[1] and competed at the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup.

[3] Aline missed the 2008 Beijing Olympics after suffering a knee ligament injury in a pre-tournament friendly against South Korea.

[4] She had helped to secure Brazil's place at the tournament, by scoring in a 5–1 win over Ghana at a CONMEBOL–CAF play-off staged at Beijing's Workers Stadium.

Brazil had been forced into the play-off following a shock defeat at the hands of Argentina at the 2006 South American Women's Football Championship.
