All Saints Chapel, Somerford

[1] The chapel is in the Anglican benefice of Astbury and Smallwood in the deanery of Congleton, the archdeaconry of Macclesfield and the diocese of Chester.

[2] It was built in 1725 as a domestic chapel to Somerford Hall by Peter Shackerley.

The north and south faces have four round-arched windows with ashlar surrounds.

On the north side of the altar is a 17th-century memorial to Elizabeth Shakerley who died in 1691.

[3] In the churchyard is the grave of Peter Shakerley, founder of the chapel, who died in 1726.
