Allegra Fuller Snyder

Allegra Fuller Snyder (August 28, 1927 – July 11, 2021[1]) was an American dance ethnologist (ethnochoreologist), choreographer, professor, and author specializing in dance and culture.

She was Professor Emerita of dance ethnology from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).

[2] Snyder was the daughter of noted architect and inventor Buckminster Fuller and his wife Anne Hewlett.

She went on to state that "This field of investigation has been the major focus of my life and work for the last thirty-plus years.

[5] She previously taught at the California Institute of the Arts, and Naropa University.
