Allopeas clavulinum, common name the spike awlsnail,[1] is a species of small, tropical, air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Achatinidae.
[2] This species is also known as Lamellaxis clavulinus.
(Original description in Latin) The turreted shell is delicate, glassy, and translucent with a polished sheen.
The oval aperture is angular at the top and left sides.
[5] The non-indigenous distribution of this species has a wide distribution in the tropics and subtropics of East Africa.
