Alva Edison Liles (March 6, 1956 – January 7, 1998) was an American football defensive lineman who played in the National Football League (NFL) with the Detroit Lions and Oakland Raiders.
[1] He played college football at Boise State University, as an offensive guard.
[1] He played with the Detroit Lions, the Oakland Raiders, the New York Jets, and the Washington Redskins.
[1] He was a member of the Oakland Raiders team that won Super Bowl XV.
[2] Following his career in the NFL, he was a defensive end for the Oakland Invaders of the United States Football League (USFL).
