She was hired by BYU in 2022; prior to that, she coached high school basketball in Idaho.
She led the team to a state championship in 2022 and was named the 4A Coach of the Year by the Idaho Statesman.

In her first season, she led the team to a 16–17 record and an appearance in the 2023 Women's National Invitation Tournament.
[2] She and Trent have two children; her daughter Amari committed to play basketball at BYU in 2023.
