Ambite

Ambite (Spanish pronunciation: [amˈbite]) is a municipality in the province of Madrid in central Spain.

It has 648 inhabitants (INE 2022)[2] in an area of 26 square kilometres (10 sq mi), with a population density of 14.69 hab/km2.

Ambite is home to the Palacio del Marqués de Legarda, which dates to the 17th century.

It was built by Alonso de Terante y Cárdenas, the Spanish ambassador in Naples during the reign of King Felipe III.
