The school has recently been designated as 'accessible' through the provision of lifts and ramps to make all parts of the building suitable for disabled persons.

In 2018 the school secured Department for Education funding for the building of a new Performing Arts Centre, kitchen and dining facilities.

In addition, the school works closely as a member of the East Hampshire 14–19 Consortium in developing Applied Diplomas for first teaching in 2009.
