Aminul Islam made his List A debut for Mohammedan Sporting Club in the 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League on 11 February 2018.
[3] He made his Twenty20 debut for Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan in the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League on 25 February 2019.
[4] Aminul Islam was the leading run-scorer for Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan in the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League tournament, with 440 runs in 13 matches.
[8] In September 2019, Aminul Islam received his maiden call up for national team, when he was added to the squad for last two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series.
