Anaclet Mwumvaneza

He was born on 4 December 1956 in Murambi, Rulindo District, Northern Province, Rwanda.

He then transferred to the Nyakibanda Major Seminary, in the diocese of Butare, where he studied philosophy, between 1985 and 1987.

Later, starting in 2000, he studied at the Pontifical Gregorian University, in Rome, Italy, graduating from there in 2004 with a Doctorate in canon law.

[2][3] He was ordained a priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kigali, Rwanda on 25 July 1991 at the age of 34.6 years.

[1][2][3] As a priest he served in many roles including as:[2][3] On 11 March 2016, Pope Francis appointed him as Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nyundo, Rwanda.
