Anamur Lighthouse

The lighthouse is located in a headland at the southernmost point of Anatolian Peninsula at 36°01′03″N 32°48′10″E / 36.01750°N 32.80278°E / 36.01750; 32.80278.

Ören town of Anamur is 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) to the north of the lighthouse.

Originally it was fuel powered lighthouse .

The altitude of the lighthouse is 68 metres (223 ft) and its height over the terrain is 10 metres (33 ft) It flashes twice per 10 seconds.
