Anand Swarup

Sir Anand Swarup (6 August 1881 – 24 June 1937), also known as Param Guru Huzur Sahabji Maharaj,[1] was the founder of Dayalbagh.

He was the fifth revered leader, or Sant Satguru, of the Dayalbagh branch of the Radha Soami sect aka Radhasoami Satsang Dayalbagh and Spritual Head of Radhasoami Satsang Sabha[2][3] who succeeded Sarkar Sahab in 1913.

[4][5] He also laid the foundation of Radha Soami Educational Institute,[6] a co-educational middle school which opened in 1917 and later expanded and developed as Dayalbagh Educational Institute[7][failed verification] (Deemed University).

[11] The present Guru[12] Prem Saran Satsangi[13] is an emeritus professor, physicist and system scientist[14] of IIT Delhi.
