André Beucler (1898–1985) was a Russian-born French journalist, novelist, screenwriter and film director.
[1][2][3] He was born in Saint Petersburg to a French father and grew up speaking Russian.
[4] During the 1930s he worked on a number of films produced by L'Alliance Cinématographique Européenne, the French subsidiary of the German company UFA.
He was awarded the SGDL Grand Prix for Literature in 1957.
