Andre Bormanis (born February 13, 1959) is an American television producer, screenwriter, and author of the book Star Trek: Science Logs.

He was also a writer and producer of the CBS science fiction drama Threshold; the CBS drama series Eleventh Hour; a writer for Tron: Uprising; and the director of scientific research for Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey.

[1] In his role he acted as an advisor for the screenwriters, in order to ensure that the correct scientific principles are included in the episodes.

He has also been a writer of several episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise, such as "Silent Enemy", "Extinction", and "The Communicator".
