Andrew Mitchell (footballer, born 1992)

Andrew Mitchell (born 6 April 1992) is a Northern Irish semi-professional footballer who current plays for NIFL Premiership side Carrick Rangers.

On Friday 24 January 2020 Larne Announced the signing of Mitchell after he agreed his release from his contract with Linfield.

Mitchell began his career as a youth player with Northern Ireland side Greenisland.

[6] Mitchell also featured another four times after that in the first team including being an unused substitute in the Old Firm match which was a 3–2 win for Rangers at Ibrox.

Despite playing out of position, at right full-back, Mitchell was voted as Man of the Match in the fixture against Clyde on Saturday 13 April 2013.

[9] On 17 January 2014 Mitchell's contract with Rangers was terminated by mutual consent[10] and he rejoined Annan on a permanent deal until the end of the 2013–14 season due to the two club rule.
