Angela P. Aggeler

Angela Price Aggeler is an American diplomat who is the United States ambassador to North Macedonia.

Aggeler formerly served as Minister Counselor for Public Affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France; Acting Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs and the Office of the Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan in Washington, D.C., and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Press and Public Diplomacy in the Bureau of Press and Public Diplomacy.

Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Aggeler worked for the State Department at U.S. Embassies in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso and Budapest, Hungary, as well as the Consulate General in Madras, India.

Earlier in her career, she worked at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Central African Republic.

On May 25, 2022, President Joe Biden nominated Aggeler to be the next U.S Ambassador to North Macedonia.
