Angelito Lampon

Angelito Rendon Lampon (born 1 March 1950) is a Philippine prelate of the Catholic Church who has been the Archbishop of Cotabato since 2019.

[2] On 21 November 1997, Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Valliposita and Apostolic Vicar of Jolo, succeeding Bishop Benjamin de Jesus who was assassinated on February 4 of that year.

[3] Within the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines, Lampon headed the Commission on Interreligious Dialogue from 2011 to 2017.

[2] On 27 October 2012, Pope Benedict XVI named him a member of the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue.

[4] On 11 November 2018, Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Cotabato succeeding Cardinal Orlando Quevedo who retired five days earlier.
