The Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia Najma Akhtar is the Chairperson of Delhi Education Society and Prof. Dr. Asad Malik is the manager of the school.

[6] However, with a weakening Mughal Empire, the Madrasa closed in the early 1790s, but with the support of local nobility, an oriental college for literature, science and art, was established at the site in 1792.

It was reorganized as the 'Anglo Arabic College' by the British East India Company in 1828 to provide, in addition to its original objectives, an education in English language and literature.

One of the notable teachers and principals of the Anglo Arabic College was Rao Shamshad Ali Khan, who joined the school in 1947 and served until 1975.

He was a prominent figure in the Muslim League, a political party that advocated for the creation of Pakistan, and was arrested by the police during the Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi in 1975.
