Anne Ross (1925 – 29 August 2012) was a Gaelic-speaking British Celtic scholar and archaeologist.
Her area of focus was ancient Celtic culture and religion, particularly Druidism and the cult of the head.
[1] Her book Pagan Celtic Britain is a central text in Romano-British studies, and was popular among "hippies and freethinkers in the 1960s" who were interested in Celtic pagan religion.
Anne Ross died 29 August 2012 at her home in Wales.
