Ansonville is a town in Anson County, North Carolina, United States.
It is located on the northern edge of Anson County, about a mile west of the Pee Dee River.
The facility was run by and for the daughters of local planters, and only served white women.
The racial makeup of the town was 22.48% White, 76.42% African American, 0.47% Asian, and 0.63% from two or more races.
