Antonio Jesús Martín

Antonio Jesús Martín Gaitán[1] (born 22 April 1982) is a Spanish 5-per-team footballer.

[6] In 2013, he was awarded the bronze Real Orden al Mérito Deportivo.

[6] At the Portuguese-hosted 1999 European Championships, Martín's Spanish national team finished first.

[4] At the British-hosted 2003 European Championships, his team finished first[4] and he was the competition's leading goal scorer.

[4] That year, Martín was named by UEFA as the top player on the continent.

[4] He represented Spain at the 2008 Summer Paralympics where his team finished just out of the medals in fourth place.
