Arthur Albert Brandau (June 23, 1922 – January 8, 2001) was an American professional football lineman who played two seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL).
Arthur Albert Brandau was born on June 23, 1922, in Baltimore, Maryland.
[1] His football career was interrupted by a stint in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II.
[2] Brandau was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the tenth round, with the 89th overall pick, of the 1945 NFL draft.
[4] Brandau signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers of the All-America Football Conference in 1948 but was later released.
