Arthur Loyd

Arthur Thomas Loyd (19 April 1882 – 8 November 1944) was a Conservative Party politician in England.

Born in Northampton, Loyd belonged to a Welsh family, several members of which settled in Berkshire.

His uncle, Archie Kirkman Loyd, was the Conservative Member of Parliament for Abingdon from 1895 to 1906 and from 1916 to 1918.

In 1920, Loyd inherited Lockinge House from Lady Wantage,[1] the wife of his father's second cousin.
