Catuense Futebol

The club was founded on January 1, 1974, as Associação Desportiva Catuense.

Catuense competed in the Série A in 1984, when they finished in the last place in their group.

[2] The club won the Taça Estado da Bahia in 2001.

Catuense competed in the Copa do Brasil in 2004, when they were eliminated in the First Stage by Atlético Mineiro.

Catuense Futebol play their home games at Estádio Antônio Pena, nicknamed Penão.
