The women's 100 metres hurdles event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place between 31 July and 2 August 2021 at the Japan National Stadium.

American world record holder Keni Harrison finished second to clinch silver and the bronze to Jamaica's Megan Tapper.
From the gun, the final was a two-person race, Henderson out fast but Camacho-Quinn almost matching her for the first couple of hurdles.
Tapper couldn't catch Harrison for silver, but the judges spent several minutes confirming the photo finish before posting the next two places.
The winning time was 12.37 as every athlete save Tapper and 4th place Tobi Amusan had run faster in the semifinals the previous evening.
