Austrocarina recta is a species of small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Horaiclavidae.
(Original description) The thin, tall and narrow shell has a pagodiform shape.
The body whorl has a median cylindrical area, angled above and below.
Above the upper keel the whorl slopes to the suture, below the lower the base is concavely excavated.
[2] This marine species is endemic to Australia and occurs off New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria.
