Azam Nazeer Tarar (Urdu, Punjabi: اعظم نذیر تارڑ) is a Pakistani politician who is serving as the Federal Minister of Law and Justice from 11 March 2024.
He is a member of the Senate of Pakistan elected from Punjab in March 2021.
[1] Tarar resigned from the post of Federal Minister of Law and Justice on 24 October 2022.
Azam claimed his resignation due to some personal activities but rumors says Tarar was not comfortable with the government's decision,[2] but prime minister rejected his resignation on November 29.
In 2023, Tarar moved the Supreme Court (Practice and Procedure) Bill 2023, which was passed by the Joint Sitting of the Parliament on 10 April 2023.
