Büttikon

Büttikon is a municipality in the district of Bremgarten in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland.

[3] Büttikon has an area, as of 2006[update], of 2.8 square kilometers (1.1 sq mi).

The blazon of the municipal coat of arms is Bendy of Six Gules and Argent semee bendwise of Helmets Azure.

Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (95.9%), with Macedonian being second most common ( 1.2%) and French being third ( 0.5%).

[4] The age distribution, as of 2008[update], in Büttikon is; 107 children or 12.7% of the population are between 0 and 9 years old and 83 teenagers or 9.8% are between 10 and 19.

[9] About 70.4% of the total households were owner occupied, or in other words did not pay rent (though they may have a mortgage or a rent-to-own agreement).

[4] From the 2000 census[update], 384 or 58.5% were Roman Catholic, while 160 or 24.4% belonged to the Swiss Reformed Church.
