Bělkovice-Lašťany is located about 9 kilometres (6 mi) north of Olomouc.

It lies on the border between the Upper Morava Valley and Nízký Jeseník range.

The highest point is at 440 m (1,440 ft) above sea level.

In 1960, Bělkovice and Lašťany were merged and today they form one integral municipality.
