Březová-Oleško

Březová-Oleško is a municipality in Prague-West District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

Březová-Oleško consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] The name Březová is an adjective from bříza, i.e.

[3] The name Oleško was probably derived from the personal name Oleš, which was a Czech variant of Alexius.

The municipality is situated on a promontory delimited by the valleys of the Vltava and the stream Zahořanský potok.

[5] The municipality can be reached by regular transport from Prague, but it is impassable for cars as it is a dead end.
