Babice is a municipality and village in Třebíč District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic.
Babice consists of two municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] Babice is located about 12 kilometres (7 mi) southwest of Třebíč and 33 km (21 mi) south of Jihlava.
The northwestern part of the municipal territory extends into the Křižanov Highlands and includes the highest point of Babice at 682 m (2,238 ft) above sea level.
The main landmark of Babice is the Church of the Holy Trinity.
This church had to be demolished in 1863 due to its poor condition, and the current structure was built in the same year.
