Babiná

Babiná (German: Frauenstuhl; Hungarian: Bábaszék) is a village and municipality of the Zvolen District in the Banská Bystrica Region of Slovakia In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1254.

In the 17th century, it belonged to the Esterházy family.

Before the establishment of independent Czechoslovakia in 1918, Babiná was part of Zólyom County within the Kingdom of Hungary.
