The mixed team badminton event at the 2011 All-Africa Games was held from 6 to 8 September at the Escola Josina Machel Hall in Maputo.

Egypt withdrew from the competition and only participated in the individual events.

The winner in each group advance to the knockout stage.

Each tie consists of five matches, one for each discipline (men's / women's singles, men's / women's / mixed doubles).
