[3] Baglung Airport was originally opened in 1973 but ceased to operate after road access to Pokhara was established in 1992.
[4] On 14 January 2018, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, airline companies and the Baglung municipality signed an agreement to reopen the airport.
[5] On 14 March 2018, Tara Air conducted its test flight to the airport, officially reopening it 26 years after its closure.
[6] The airport resides at an elevation of 3,320 feet (1,012 m) above mean sea level.
Previously Nepal Airlines operated routes to Kathmandu.
