provides fire protection and emergency medical services to the 800,000 residents of Baltimore County, Maryland.

[4][5] In June 2023 a vote of no confidence was taken, issued by the firefighter's union, criticizing the fire chiefs for poor morale, inconsistent disciplinary procedures, unsafe decisions and falsifying documents.
