The Bandar Putra Permai area in Seri Kembangan is under the administration of the Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ).

This area is located near the federal administrative centre in Putrajaya, Bandar Kinrara, Sepang, Cyberjaya, Kajang, Puchong and approximately 27 km from Kuala Lumpur.
