Basil Lavon Stanley (February 8, 1896 – July 17, 1975) was an American football player and coach of football and basketball.
[1] Stanley played professionally as a guard for one season, in 1924, with the Rock Island Independents of the National Football League (NFL).
[2] Stanley served as the head basketball coach at the University of Arizona from 1922 to 1924.
